Step One
Sumner College of Health Sciences is currently provisionally approved in the State of Colorado and maintains offices at 950 East Harvard, Suite 210, Denver, 80210. The School has approval in California for a branch campus and maintains offices at 1668 Plum Lane Redlands,Ca 92374. The contact phone number for both sites is: (800) 525-7247.

Step Two
Sumner College of Health Sciences is seeking accreditation with the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, Council on Accreditation (AANA, COA). SCHS cannot operate until accreditation is received. SCHS can take applications and process them, but cannot accept students into the program until SCHS is notified by the AANA, COA.

NEWS: SCHS HAS NOW RECEIVED ELIGIBILITY STATUS FROM THE COA! The College has completed a three day on-site visit and will be completing the follow-up report for an established COA meeting in Chicago in May, 2008 for approval.

Step Three
SCHS continues to seek approvals and accreditation required by states and territories where students apply to study with Sumner College of Health Sciences.

Sumner College of Health Sciences will not publish any activity with accrediting bodies until allowed to do so by that association. This is a standard policy meant to protect SCHS and the prospective student. Accreditation and approval are not guaranteed until stated and published by the professional or regional association.
