Diversity is to be celebrated not tolerated.

Diversity in leadership is indispensable to generate and maintain a dynamic system of healthcare. The lack of diversity has been identified as a contributing factor in nurse retention and recruitment.

We here at Sumner College of Health Sciences are committed to implementing initiatives to increase the recruitment, retention, and graduation rates of minority students. Our goal is to investigate, define, and determine what tools are necessary to increase graduation rates of minority students in our CRNA program.
